Tomorrow, 1/Fourth and our close friends from Omaha and Lincoln are joining forces to create a DIGITALOVE of sorts in Lincoln, at the Bourbon Theatre. Let’s get down and spread the DIGITALOVE all over Lincoln Friday.
Well everyone, in conjunction with the “Symphonies” remix release and contest, I decided to go ahead and unveil a track that I originally intended to release later, but decided that I would just lay it on you now. Why not right?
So here it is. “Casual Sex” is here free to download, blast in your car, on your iPod, whatever. I just want you to dance. Enjoy!
Dorion (Derrick Calloway) of 1/Fourth has remixed Dan Black and Kid Cudi’s lovely single “Symphonies” for the IndabaMusic.com remix contest. Here’s the track available to stream and for free download.
Introducing Derrick Calloway’s first 1/Fourth mix for download. Included in the mix is a brand new 1/Fourth original track, “F*ck This Noise,” written and produced by Derrick, mastered by our good friends Ultimate Downhill Machines. When Derrick dropped this track at Nomad a week ago, people flipped out. Definitely a true, high-energy, electrohouse piece of goodness.
Give the mix a listen, drink some milk, and f*ck this noise.
After several weeks of heartache and panic, 1fourth.com will continue to be updated once again. The mac I use to connect to and update 1fourth.com decided to die two days after I ordered my new one, leaving me without access for a good two weeks. WHAT TIMING. After six years, it couldn’t wait two more weeks? Anyway, we’re back to normal.
We have some incredible shows coming up, so watch out. Also, some other really big news is in the works. WHAT COULD IT BE?!
Come back soon and find out.
In the meantime, listen to this beautiful new song by School of Seven Bells, released to promote their new album Disconnect from Desire, which will be out July 13th.
